Heroverse is the first match-3 Puzzle and RPG Strategy Play-and-Earn Game.

Match-3 Puzzle

Users may have been familiar with the term ‘match-3 puzzle’ for such a long time. It is. Typing ‘match -3 puzzle’ into Google Search yields more than 150.000.000 results in less than 1 second. Some of the common names have come up to the screen, including Candy Crush Saga — a match-3 candy game and PopCap’s Bejeweled — a match-3 gem game with a list of alongside similar-looking titles that share similar names. Being inspired by the concept of Match-3-puzzle, the Heroverse Developer Team aims at creating a hyper-casual game that is easy to understand, simple to play, and entertaining to users. However, unlike Candy Crush Saga and Popcap’s Bejeweled, Heroverse is firmly connected and extra-fascinating with an incredible and well-prepared game story that does not measure up to any other prevalent esport games in the market.

RPG Strategy

Besides, Heroverse also contains RPG Strategy elements. Although various best RPG games are tactical RPGs — or turn-based RPGs, which tend to focus more on squad-based combat and have roots in the classic tabletop RPGs of old, Heroverse focuses on more prominent RPG features: exploring and looting. It is more about how the characters evolve as they interact with the narrative. The nature of this progression and the choices users make mean that their abilities and journey may never be the same across multiple playgrounds.

Play-and-Earn Model

Play-and-Earn is a business model that embraces the concepts of players’ gaming experience and open economy. Unlike the Play-to-Earn model that focuses on Earning and provides financial benefits to all players who add value by contributing to the game world, the Play-and-Earn model also focuses on player experience. That means the game is designed both for users’ economy’s sake and the gaming experience itself.

Low Inflation Rate

Heroverse has two types of tokens: pre-minted tokens and unlimited tokens.

Pre-minted tokens are limited tokens released in the project which can only use to buy heroes and gacha. Due to the limited feature of this token type, we can control the pricing process of the pre-minted token during the project. To be more specific, the number of pre-minted tokens released has been decided at the beginning of the project, which means there will not be any situation of issuing more tokens during the whole process that might lead to the shrinkage of token price.

Unlimited tokens are tokens that users earn when they win each game and can only use in in-game transactions. However, the problem is that when users win so many games that the unlimited tokens exceed the controllable number. The Heroverse Development Team has also prepared for that situation and developed the mechanism of using unlimited tokens for hero up-gradation, reducing the inflation rate in this token type.

Besides, we also have a mechanism — the Reborn System to manage the number of heroes. For example, to level up each hero’s strength, they need to go through an up-gradation process, in which players can combine four ordinary heroes (hero level 1) to upgrade to a level-2 hero (Hero Shard). However, it is only economical when players elevate heroes to a defined level, as continuously using an old hero to make Hero Shard will significantly increase costs. This mechanism helps maintain the hero’s supply power and reduces the hero’s inflation rate and in-game inflation. Thus, the economy in the game always has a balance mechanism between the player and the number of heroes generated.

Crypto Hero

Crypto Hero is a supportive feature to boost the hero’s strength by crypto movement. Each hero will be assigned a crypto medal. Those cryptos are usually the top coins in the market. The power of the hero will increase or decrease depending on the trend of currencies at that time. It makes the game more crypto-friendly and increases the hero variant. For example, when BTC is on an uptrend, BTC heroes will be more robust; therefore, players are advised to use those heroes to their advantage.

Earn Mechanism

Trading: Sale Heroes and items at the Marketplace. In the NFT Game Marketplace, players can buy, sell, rent, exchange, and auction game characters and items into Tokens.

Renting: Players can rent out their hero for profit. The rental price will depend on the hero’s value in the market.

Gacha: Lucky spin function, players will be profitable if they are lucky enough to open valuable rare heroes

Reward: Players can earn tokens via quest, PVP, tower conquest, clan event.
